BabylonSixty is a fractional leadership business run by Darren Hopper in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.babylonsixty.co.nz, how we use it and the choices you have. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your first and last name, company name, email address and message.
- Direct contact. Anything you choose to share when you email or phone us.
- Website analytics. Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, time on site, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. It uses cookies to do this. We look at this information in aggregate and don't use it to identify you.
- Hosting and security. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm a real person is sending it.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to discuss working together. We use analytics to understand which content is useful and to improve the site, and security data to keep the site safe. We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Where it is stored
Contact form messages go to our Google Workspace email. Google holds the analytics data and Cloudflare processes the hosting and security data. These providers may store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States, under their own privacy and security commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and for any work that follows. Google Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which tell one visit from another. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email darren@babylonsixty.com and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
